Moving Bodies

Hello and welcome to the Moving Bodies website and community resource.

Everyone at Candoco is thrilled to be working across the United Kingdom on Moving Bodies, a project that allows us to meet and work with hundreds of creative individuals to make contemporary dance more inclusive and therefore more exciting.

This website allows you to find out more about the Moving Bodies Project. A range of partners and participants contribute to this exciting project and we hope the site will be useful for all of those involved and anyone else who would like know more about the project.

Strands of Activity

Moving Bodies is made up of 4 key strands of activity. Each strand follows through to the next, as a pathway into high quality inclusive contemporary dance.

The Moving Bodies website and Community resource links all these strands and the people involved across the UK together, allowing continuous discussion and exchange.

In each part of the UK involved in Moving Bodies we have a group of partners – regional or national dance agencies, theatre and dance venues. They, along with Candoco are shaping the Moving Bodies project so that it can have the most impact in your area.
